FAQs

We know wholesale ordering comes with a lot of practical questions — here’s everything you need to know about ordering, paying, and working with Prime Flowers. Can’t find what you’re after? Get in touch and we’ll help directly.

Office hours

Our office hours are 9am–4pm, Monday to Friday (NSW time, including daylight savings — if you’re in Queensland, we’re an hour ahead over summer). If you call outside these hours, leave us a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re back in the office.

Payment methods

We accept Credit Card (via Stripe) or Direct Deposit. You’ll find our account number for Direct Deposit at the bottom of your invoice and statement.

Payment terms

For approved account holders, payment terms are 30 days after end of month — invoices generated within a month are due no later than the end of the following month (e.g. all January invoices are due by the end of February). If you’re not yet approved for an account, payment is required before shipment.

Minimum purchase order

Minimum order is 10 bunches.

Standard/default order

Your standard order is your normal weekly order — a set number of bunches per flower type, with colour, variety and/or length preferences, and a delivery day. You can set up more than one delivery per week, and your standard order can differ for each one.

This can be increased (subject to availability) or decreased over time, but should stay relatively stable across most of the year. Need extras? Just get in touch and, availability permitting, we’ll do our best to arrange it.

We use the online ordering platform Fresho.

Order changes/cancellations

Changes to your standard order can be made online, by email, phone or fax — we need these by 3pm NSW time, one day prior to delivery. After that cut-off, call us directly and, provided your order hasn’t already been packed, we’ll do our best to accommodate the change. An administration fee applies to changes or cancellations made after an order has been packed.

Special/wedding orders

All special and wedding orders need to be submitted in writing, with the following details: delivery day/date, occasion day/date, type (Asiatic/LA, Oriental, etc.), colour/variety, and minimum stem length needed.

Please note flowers we sell direct will only start opening 7–10 days after purchase. If we can’t provide exactly what you’ve asked for, our sales team will be in touch to find the best alternative.

Major days (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas)

We aim to supply 2–3 times your standard order for these major periods, if needed. We’ll send a customised order form 3–4 weeks prior — please return it even if you don’t need to increase your order, as standard orders aren’t automatically sent over this period. We can’t confirm major-day orders until 1–2 weeks out, as weather can significantly affect crop timing.

Delivery days

Delivery days vary by location — check the Fresho platform for details specific to you or enquire.

Price list

We don’t run a weekly price list — instead, we use year-round pricing, including for major days. That means you always know your costs and can price with confidence, well in advance. Other specials are offered from time to time, as supply allows. Once we receive your completed Credit Application, we’ll send you a price list and other customer information.

Freight costs

Freight costs vary by location and order size and will be confirmed when you order.

Packaging

Orders are sent out in cartons, in two sizes: Half (small) — fits approx. 10–15 bunches. Full (large) — fits approx. 24–32 bunches.

Stems per bunch/flowers per stem

Lilies have a minimum of 5 stems per bunch. When stems are lighter or carry fewer buds, we may include extra stems at no additional charge. Each stem should carry a minimum of 2–3 flowers that will open.

Becoming a customer

To become a customer, contact us for a copy of our Credit Application & Trading Terms. This must be signed, returned, and approved before we can send any orders.

One-off orders

We’re sorry, but we don’t accept one-off orders — we give full priority for supply to our regular customers.
